Ground in Balwyn

Designed by Axe Architects, The Atelier blurs the line between sanctuary and gallery. Framed by steel-glazed windows and backing onto a central park, each space is oriented toward natural light and greenery, fostering a seamless connection between indoors and out.

At its core is Ground from our Tonal Collection, used across floors, stairs, and feature wall-cladding. Custom brass inserts on the stairs add a subtle, tailored detail, while the timber’s gentle warmth balances a refined material palette—terrazzo-finished stone, Taj Mahal marble, and black NX Decor joinery.

With sculptural ceilings, curated sight-lines and cabinetry that reads as built-in furniture, The Atelier shows how thoughtful materials—and a unified timber tone—can elevate everyday living with quiet sophistication.
