Dune in Carlton

Carlton Residence is a considered re-imagining of a Renaissance Revival terrace in Melbourne’s inner city. Guided by interior designer Kate Challis, the home unfolds as a quiet dialogue between architectural heritage and contemporary life. Original proportions, arched thresholds and restored details have been carefully reconnected, allowing the architecture to breathe and spaces to flow naturally.

Throughout, our Dune flooring provides a grounding presence. Soft grey washes and natural timber grain introduce depth and continuity, subtly linking formal and informal areas. Its restrained character allows Venetian plaster walls, steel-framed openings and sculptural lighting to take focus, creating an interior that feels calm, cohesive and intentional.
